COVID RESPONSE PRODUCTS
Sterilyft is a complete elevator cab air purifying and sterilizing solution based on systems used in hospital sterile rooms.
Social distancing in typical elevators is difficult at best. Manually sanitizing elevators is nearly impossible since they rarely stop moving. CEC Elevator Cab Corp has leveraged their more than 30 years of experience as a loyal provider, manufacturer and developer of elevator cabs, elevator cab accessories and products to engineer and produce a system to help lessen the risks caused by the enclosed elevator space. US patented SteriLyft works continuously using special filtration and UV-C light to help “clean the air” throughout the day, 24/7. CEC Elevator Cab Corp proudly offers to be your elevator air sterilization manufacturer
Double Filtration
UV-C Light
710 CFM Fan
Flexible Design
Sterilyft contains uses two MERV 13 certified filters
UV-C light irradiates up to 99.9% of germs
Full volume of air is circulated and sterilized roughly twice per minute
Able to be mounted anywhere on the outside of the cab
INTRODUCING STERILROOM

How it works
HOW IT WORKS
Sterilyft, utilizes the HVAC technology of forced air and a semi-closed loop system, with the filtration technology of double MERV 13 filters and the germicidal effect of UV-C radiation to help move air and contaminants away from the public, Filter the air to maximum quality and disinfect to the best possible extent with the UV-C source. Studies have shown UV-C alone accomplishes 99.999% disinfection. The “cleaned” air is circulated back into the elevator and circulated continually always cleaning and providing fresh, sterilized and filtered air.

What makes Sterilyft uniquely different than other systems is that 1. Sterilyft actually creates a circulation of air, removing the contaminated air and replacing with clean, sanitized air. 2. Sterilyft does not use shaftway air. In fact, with semi closed loop, the shaft is sealed away from the system's components. 3. Sterilyft does not add any bi-products or chemicals to the cab air, such as other systems that may add moisture creating ions or ozone which is a natural byproduct of ion generation. 4. Sterilyft is designed for superior exchanging of air with an industry leading 710 cfm fan. 5. Sterilyft will remove contaminants and particles from inside the cab. Other systems may leave in the cab, only to be swept out onto the occupied floors the elevator serves when doors open, 6. By not being open to shaft, Sterilyft is not subject to the negating pressures of shaftway movement and, Sterilyft would not increase the risk of adding smoke into the cab in the event of a shaftway smoke condition.

Sterilyft has been tested by Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) in a one month, 3rd party, air quality monitoring study for side by side comparison of two active passenger elevators in Virginia, UL's data shows Sterilyft's superior performance over that of a standard exhaust fan equipped elevator with results as:

Removal of particulate matter 10 microns or less (PM10): 95.5% less contaminants
Removal of particulate matter 2.5 microns or less (PM2.5): 95.79% less contaminants
Removal of particulate matter 1 micron or less (PM1): 97.46% less contaminants
Removal of particulate matter .3 microns or less (PM>0.3): 89.21% less contaminants
Removal of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC): 32.7% less content (284 ug/m3 average - US Green Building Council requirement <500 ug/m3)

In addition to the high efficiency filtration of the air, we have calculated based on measured air speed in UVC chamber, time of exposure and on calculated radiance intensity and irradiance of the UVC lamp our UVC dosage (or fluence) to be over 20 mJ/cm2. This dosage is currently being tested by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) Intertek to verify efficacy to bacterial and viral pathogens. Current research studies suggest SARS-CoV-2 (virus which causes COVID-19) is effectively inactivated by a dosage of 10 to 20 mJ/cm2.
